Beginners basic stitches Workshop

These Beginners Crochet Workshops are perfect for complete beginners — and also ideal for anyone wanting to refresh or strengthen their foundations.

Over four weekly sessions, we’ll build skills step by step, starting with hand positions, slip knots and chaining, before moving on to double crochet, half treble, treble and double treble crochet. By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence and knowledge to tackle most crochet projects on your own, or continue learning with me in future classes.

Each week builds on the last, creating a relaxed and supportive space to learn, practise and ask questions as you go.

A great starting point for your crochet journey — or the perfect reset if you want to feel more confident with the basics

Improvers - African flowers Cardigan

You know your way around a hook, you've mastered the basics — and now you're ready for your most ambitious project yet. The Improvers Cardigan Workshops will guide you, stitch by stitch, through crafting a stunning African Flower hexagon cardigan from the very first motif to a beautifully finished garment.

Whether you join for one session or commit to the full series, every workshop is fully guided with patient, expert tuition. You'll leave each evening feeling proud of what your hands have made — and excited to pick up your hook again.

I will be there to guide you, and will give you patten support, provide refreshments, create granny hexagons and half hexagons, help you with ribbed edges blocking and finishing.

Better still, you will be crocheting alongside fellow improvers in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. There is two weeks between each workshop to help you to catch up, and be ready for the following session.
